This is my first experience learning the blades this way, it makes way more sense. This course has taught me more about the blades, drilling techniques and why it is important to understand this part of the art. I look forward to the next modules!
Very hard to get information about BJD on the internet – the most you will get is a video of the form. In this course you get videos of the techniques broken down into bite sized drills to practice.
This is a fantastic first unit of the Baat Jaam Dao course and is both an extremely valid starting point for those who wish to review their Wing Chun Kuen knife skills and for those who wish to extend their empty hand training for the very first time.
It contains the essential skills needed to progress into the first four sets of the full Baat Jaam Dao form.
Blade familiarisation drills develop the key focus areas and attributes in preparation for the form and application. Great easy to follow breakdown
Very true.
