I have been following Alan Orr’s videos since he was selling DVDs on EWC. I have never been disappointed in the content. Even when he covers material that is similar to other courses, he always offers new information. Sifu Alan’s method for applying WC to me is the most practical.
This course is no different, and makes an excellent follow up to the Chinese Boxing and Wooden Dummy Gloved courses. The reason I felt compelled to leave a 4 star review is primarily due to the lack of audio quality of the videos. This course is recorded outdoors on a windy day, and at several points thru out the video you cannot hear what he is saying at all.
Audio quality has been a major issue in all of his videos that I have purchased from the very beginning. The online courses he now offers are not inexpensive, and although the information is priceless, for the price I would like to see better production value.
I still plan on purchasing modules in the future that I believe are areas I can work on. I only hope that by bringing the issue up some consideration can be taken as to the production crew used to create his content.

Hi Santos
Thank you for your kind words.
In terms of sound we did even use a mic for those videos. It is always hard controlling sounds unless you use a studio. So I focus on getting out great content and lots of information.
We will always try are best to do better on the sound
A great series of lessons introducing a range of straight line combinations that can be trained in a range of manners.
Being new to the Chinese boxing aspects of CSL Wing Chun I’ve found these courses invaluable, well explained and demonstrated and have begun coaching them to my students which has opened up a new level of skill development and appreciation for our art
That’s great to hear Paul
